First Installation in Encinitas

Today I wrapped my first installation in Encinitas. The client commissioned three custom succulent arrangements, using some material that was previously planted in the same pots. Additionally, we filled these gorgeous CB2 Wabi Slate Fiberstone planters. Five of the planters were 14” which we filled with two 5gal Sansevieria laurentii, a 15gal standard bougainvillea, a 15gal olea, and a custom 12” tropical arrangement.

We had to get creative with the pots because they’re enormous and it’s detrimental to the plant to fill the entire cover pot with soil. So, after placing an upside down 14” pot in the bottom, covering with an obscene amount of packing peanuts, and a layer of micro bark, we situated each of the plants up at the rim of the pot for ventilation and ease of watering.
